Our Client is seeking an experienced Associate to join its Technology Investment Banking Group in San Francisco.

  • Live in, or ability to relocate to, San Francisco

The Technology Investment Banking Associate will be involved in all facets of the Bank’s investment banking activities and will play an integral role supporting the origination and execution of a broad range of transactions, including private and public financing (equity, equity-linked and debt), mergers and acquisitions and other advisory services across the Technology Investment Banking Group.

 

The specific responsibilities of the Associate include, but are not limited to, financial analysis and modeling, conducting industry and company-specific research, coordinating the various processes involved in a financing or sale, and the preparation of pitch materials, client presentations, offering memorandum, proposals, and other written materials for meetings with clientele.

 

The role offers junior banking professionals the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers and have direct interaction with current and prospective clients within Banks’s technology coverage universe, spanning enterprise software, internet & digital media, cyber-security and alternative energy.

 

Requirements:

  • Live in, or ability to relocate to, San Francisco
  • 4-5 years of directly relevant investment banking experience, particularly within technology coverage universe (1 year of investment banking experience with an MBA)
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree along with outstanding academic achievement, preferably in fields of finance, economics, engineering, computer science or related field
  • High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Product Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Salesforce, Pitchbook and Thomson
  • Well-honed verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team working skills
  • Superior work ethic
  • U.S. work authorization required

Additional Qualifications

  • Series 63 & 79 licensing preferred
